Marriage is not a word that is used in a sentence. Marriage is a "LIFESTYLE." According to nation wide statistics on "DIVORCE" the rate in the 1990's ran between 41%-48% and so far in the 21st century the highest it's been is 38%. I don't know if people are finally starting to wake up and realize that when you take your vows you are suppose to keep them or if more people are just staying married because it's convenient. Either way we are here to give you information on how can you prevent divorce.

It doesn't take rocket science to figure out how to make a relationship work. The first thing you must absolutely understand though is before you marry someone you should make sure that your relationship is built upon the right things. Friendship is the main key to having and keeping a loving marriage. If you have trouble talking to your spouse about things because he/she acts like they are not interested in what you are saying then, how can you prevent divorce, by simply not marrying that person.

Communication

Communication is a must and it can definitely not be one-sided. Trust is probably where most of our relationships fail. We have all been hurt way too many times and for the most part we're tired of being treated like we don't matter. How can you prevent divorce though when you carry the hurt and pain of your past relationship into the new one? It's simple you can't. Before we can move into a new relationship with someone we must be completely clean of all the hurt and all the pain that we have endured in our past so that we don't take our frustrations and aggressions out on the ones that don't deserve it.
